SMSL PL100 Pro CD Player 2x CS43131 MQA Black
The SMSL PL100 Pro, an evolution of the PL100, is a CD player now based on two CS43131 DAC chips combined with a PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) circuit to provide sound reproduction as close as possible to the original source. The unit supports several CD formats: CD / CD-R / CD-RW / MP3 CD. It also features multiple outputs including a coaxial output, an optical Toslink output, a single-ended RCA output and a balanced XLR output. In addition, it includes a single-ended 3.5mm headphone output and a balanced 4.4mm headphone output capable of delivering up to 2x200mW at 32 Ohm for a high level of compatibility. The PL100 Pro retains the form factor of its predecessor and also features a display, several control buttons and a remote control for full remote operation.
SMSL PL100 Pro: 2x CS43131 DAC chip
The CS43131 DAC chips, combined with the PLL circuit, provide high-quality CD decoding for a final sound reproduction with excellent transparency. Indeed, the PLL circuit significantly reduces jitter during playback while the two DAC chips ensure symmetrical signal processing.
SMSL PL100 Pro: Raw digital outputs
The coaxial output and the optical Toslink output of the PL100 PRO are capable of delivering the raw signal for a direct connection to a DAC in order to achieve the best possible sound quality.
SMSL PL100 Pro: 3.5mm and 4.4mm headphone outputs
Thanks to its CS43131 DAC chips, the SMSL PL100 Pro CD player is also capable of delivering up to 2x200mW at 32 Ohm through its balanced 4.4mm output, allowing it to drive a wide range of headphones and earphones.
SMSL PL100 Pro: Flexible installation
The form factor of the SMSL PL100 Pro CD player allows it to be positioned either horizontally or vertically.
