A 3.5mm mono jack cable must be used for this to work (available as an accessory).
If you use a stereo jack cable, it may not work.

Remote shutter trigger sector unit 230v 12v

Trigger 12V Power / IEC


This accessory, made in France, in our workshops, makes it easy to add an automatic on/off function (trigger) to devices that do not have this as a native function.

The principle of operation is simple: the housing has an IEC (sector) Input and output . By default, no current flows between the two connectors.

A second input on 3.5mm jack is located on the side of the device. When this input is fed by a 12V DC, it closes the circuit between the IEC input and output, which allows current to pass.


This type of accessory can be used in a variety of fields. In the case of an audio system, it is especially convenient to turn on several devices simultaneously: A master device equipped with a trigger output connected to the 12v trigger may thus control the activation of other remote devices. The same goes for the shutdown.

If your HiFi or Home Cinema set incorporates a 12V trigger output (HC preamplifier, Blu-ray high-end player) connect product on your amplifier input and drive it from the master device to trigger on elements that are connected to it.

Plug & play, fonctionne parfaitement dès la première utilisation et permet (à l'aide d'un câble jack mâle-mâle 3,5 mm mono) d'allumer n'importe quel appareil en parallèle avec l'appareil pilote équipé d'un déclencheur 12 V

J'étais sceptique avant de l'acheter, j'avais peur que ça impacte sur la qualité du son, et bien Non !!! Audiophonics m'avait rassuré a ce sujet avant l'achat, je n'ai ressenti aucune différence, le son reste intact et de bonne qualité, il allume et éteins mes amplis sans problème, je suis pleine satisfait de ce boitier, je ne peux que vous le recommander sans souci. Works/performs as expected. However I must confirm this - from another review: "Another con is the tolerances of the connectors - the plug side is tiny bit too small and tends to wobble when plugged in and the connection does not feel as secure as it should. Same goes with the input side which is a bit too loose."
