TOPPING HYNOTONE Berserker Preamp Guitar Pedal
This Topping Hynotone Berseker guitar pedal is a preamp pedal featuring two JFET circuits, one clean circuit and one distortion circuit. It covers a wide range of sounds from metal to progressive metal. High-performance, it replicates the functions of an amplifier head, allowing it to replace it while maintaining a compact form factor. The two circuits in this guitar pedal are completely independent, each with its own gain and volume controls and a 3-band EQ (bass, midrange, treble). It is even possible to configure two separate presets for the two modes and switch between them using the channel footswitch. The JFET amplification circuits offer a sound similar to tube amp heads, which will delight many users.
TOPPING HYNOTONE Berserker: design with Noise Gate
The noise gate technology integrated into the Berseker guitar pedal offers ultra-low noise but still sounds natural. Furthermore, compared to many similar pedals, it does not introduce any white noise or hiss into the signal processing chain. This Noise Gate also has the ability to adjust in real time. If your playing is fast and rhythmic, the noise gate will close cleanly and instantly, while if your playing is slow with sustained notes, the noise gate will close gently and gradually in order to preserve a natural decay and ensure smooth sound transitions.
TOPPING HYNOTONE Berserker: two tones
Punchy mode: Tightens the bass for a punchy sound while bringing out the mids for more aggression without losing musicality and expressiveness.
Percussive mode: Tightens the entire spectrum while adding punchy highs. This mode promotes an aggressive yet harmonious sound. Use with Tight mode for an even more precise response.
TOPPING HYNOTONE Berserker: basic controls
Boost: Controls dynamic response. The more boost you add, the more impactful the sound will be, with powerful tones for a compressed, aggressive sound.
Gate: Controls the noise gate (for the Drive channel only).
In addition, there is a volume control, a gain control, and a 3-band EQ.
TOPPING HYNOTONE Berserker : BITE/TIGHT
BITE: For tight bass and aggressive tone. Recommended for 7-string guitars and low tuning configurations.
TIGHT: Emphasizes the midrange, delivering raw, dry distortion. When not activated, the sound is smoother and more fluid.
TOPPING HYNOTONE Berserker: two footswitches
BOOST: Tightens the bass and boosts the mids for an aggressive, modern sound. Recommended for 7-string guitars and low-tuning configurations.
CHANNEL: Switches between the two channels for a seamless transition between different settings.
