ToP-ART technology
The R-N1000A is based on the brand's Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology (ToP-ART), ensuring optimal processing and transmission of the input signal, which remains low in noise and distortion. This particular architecture is based on a balanced design. This is combined with ART (Anti-Resonance and Tough) technology, which provides better damping and greater chassis rigidity. This design allows the R-N1000A to offer a rich sound reproduction.
A high precision DAC for high performance
Equipped with an ESS ES 9080Q 32bit 384kHz DAC, the R-N1000A offers great performance in terms of signal-to-noise ratio. This connected amplifier exploits all the advantages of high-resolution sound sources also thanks to Yamaha's exclusive network module. Yamaha's goal here with the R-N1000A is to reproduce the subtle ambience of concert halls with an extreme level of nuance and detail.
Low impedance
To eliminate power loss and audio signal degradation, the R-N1000A is equipped with large grounding cables. This is one of the features that make it a high-end product. For the amplifier section, a screw connection was adopted to reinforce the grounding. The result is a very clear sound.

Using only high-end electronic components specifically selected for their sonic performance, the R-N1000A manages to deliver exceptional sound reproduction.
Gold-plated terminal blocks
To prevent signal loss, the R-N1000A features gold-plated connectors for its speaker terminals and input connections.

The R-N1000A's Pure Direct mode allows the audio signal to bypass all tone and balance control circuits. This ensures better sound quality while preserving the power of the amplifier. A method that allows for a transparent and musical reproduction.
Loudness feature
The R-N1000A's front-panel Loudness function allows you to adjust the balance of high and low frequencies while preserving a full tonal range regardless of the volume level. This can be a useful tool for dealing with the natural loss of high and low frequencies at low sound levels.
