AsciLab F6BBookshelf Speakers 125W 4 Ohm 84dB White (Pair)
The AsciLab F6B are passive bookshelf speakers offering precise, powerful sound reproduction in a compact format. These 2-way speakers feature a 1“ aluminum dome tweeter with custom waveguide and phase tapping, combined with a 6” woofer with fiber cone, all housed in an enclosure with passive radiator. The optimized depth of the AsciLab F6B makes them easy to integrate on a shelf or desk, while enhancing their sensitivity. In addition, the 5x8” passive radiator provides a considerable boost at low frequencies. Their design allows for lower crossover points and reduced distortion, for an extremely clear sound. The F6B feature a 1kHz crossover and support up to 125W of amplification.

AsciLab F6B: Optimized tweeters for controlled sound dispersion
AsciLab F6B tweeters feature a waveguide and internal phase plug designed to precisely manage sound dispersion. These elements avoid phase interference, reduce internal resonance and improve off-axis dispersion. The advantages of this type of configuration translate into a more linear frequency response, reduced distortion and better spatialization of sound, offering a more coherent soundstage.
AsciLab F6B: Powerful 6” woofer for optimum spatial coverage
Despite their compact size, the 6” woofers in the AsciLab F6B loudspeakers are capable of providing powerful, well-defined bass in spaces of up to 25m². High-performance and dynamic, these woofers also come with an aesthetically pleasing protective cover, combining performance and design.
AsciLab F6B: A 5x8” passive radiator
AsciLab F6B speakers feature a passive radiator at the rear. This limits unwanted resonance while optimizing low-frequency reproduction. This solution also helps reduce distortion at high volumes, unlike a bass-reflex port, which can generate turbulence. AsciLab has also chosen to integrate a passive radiator in order to maintain a relatively compact speaker design.

"Just like the F6Bs, the immediate impression was warm and ultra clean detail. Here, the F6B went lower, producing a full range response. I felt no need to change anything with EQ. The level of refinement oozes from every aspect of the F6B from external design to objective measurements.
When you include the price in the equation, I am at a loss to recommend alternatives to the F6B. It is that good!"
