The Dayton Audio DTA-100LF is a compact class D amplifier designed to power a subwoofer or a tactile bass transducer. It delivers 70 W into 8 Ω and up to 100 W into 4 Ω, relying on a highly stable continuous power supply and settings dedicated to bass control.
Intended for desktop installations, home theater systems and DIY configurations, it combines a low-pass filter, subsonic filter, parametric equalization and phase adjustment to ease its integration with the main speakers. Its low-profile format, mounting brackets and Auto-On function allow it to be installed discreetly while ensuring standalone everyday use.

The Dayton Audio DTA-100LF is a class D amplifier designed to power a subwoofer. Its highly stable continuous power supply delivers 70 W into 8 Ω and up to 100 W into 4 Ω, while its compact low-profile format eases its integration into desktop installations, home theater systems or DIY projects. The included brackets also allow it to be mounted under a desk, table or shelf when available space is limited.
Dayton Audio DTA-100LF: Filtering and acoustic integration
The DTA-100LF combines several settings that allow the bass to be precisely tailored to the system used. The low-pass filter eases the connection with the main speakers, while the subsonic filter limits frequencies likely to cause excessive driver excursion. The single-band parametric equalizer allows independent adjustment of frequency, bandwidth and level to reduce the influence of room modes, while the variable phase adjustment fine-tunes the coherence between the subwoofer and the other channels. The RCA inputs and outputs complete this versatility by allowing simple insertion into various audio configurations.
Dayton Audio DTA-100LF: Standalone operation
The Auto-On function automatically detects the presence of a signal to activate the amplifier, then returns it to standby when playback stops. The DTA-100LF can thus operate without daily intervention, with either a subwoofer or a bass shaker intended for home theater or simulation.
