Powerful Class A stereo power amplifier, the Tonewinner AD-1PA benefits from a high quality balanced architecture that allows it to develop significant power while ensuring a dynamic and precise sound reproduction. A Class A amplifier as powerful as it is efficient
The amplifier stage of the Tonewinner AD-1PA embeds 8 pairs of high power transistors TTC5200 and TTA1943 within a Class A. These allow the amplifier to deliver a consequent power of 300W RMS per channel under 8Ω.
Class A/AB switch
The Tonewinner AD-1PA has three operating modes: Class A, Class AB or Auto. A switch allows you to select the most suitable mode according to your needs and your installation. The Auto mode automatically switches from Class A to Class AB when the temperature of the unit reaches a certain limit and switches back to Class A if the temperature drops.
Bi-wiring possibility
With its dual speaker terminals, the Tonewinner AD-1PA offers the possibility of bi-wiring. This method of connecting to speakers can offer an improvement in sound quality by reducing the magnetic interactions of the cables.
A large power supply
In order to deliver such a power, the Tonewinner AD-1PA is equipped with a large power supply, including a high performance toroidal transformer of no less than 1200W. 16 large filter capacitors with a total capacity of 180,000µF ensure a clean and stable electrical signal. In addition, the left and right channels are independently power supplied.
Perfect isolation
The internal design of the AD-1PA has been thought to physically separate the different sections of the device and thus ensure a very good isolation. This design effectively limits interference and noise.
