excellent
Utilisé pour alimenter un routeur Fastweb.
Je retrouve une plus grande clarté dans le son avec Qobuz.
Rien de spectaculaire...

Hey, it works!
Perfect for a headless Plexamp pi feeding a Genelec SAM system! :-)

The missing star is for lack of documentation and a little for lack of a suitable case. Stole the idea to use a low profile passive heatsink case from Geekworm and cannibalize their acrylic plate "case" for a hood and bits, Works, but the hat still remains pretty exposed.

What's actually needed to get it working: 'dtoverlay=hifiberry-digi'.

Can't figure out (with enough certainty, not going to guess) where/how to wire a coax S/PDIF output; Really should be documented here.

AES / EBU HAT RPI
I paired this with a Pi4b streamer running Moode in a Argon M2 case with a Funk AES cable connected to a Gustard X18. Listening between USB2 and USB3 BT LDAC with very good cables the AES was a quantum leap. Sound stage a meter wider, bass clean and forceful, mids just sweet, highs crystal clear, high hats some I hadn't heard on tracks I'd listen to 100 times before. No hint of digital sound or tinny sounding, an absolute upgrade and at an excellent price. For the M2 case and HAT I needed 2 PSUs but it was all set up on Moode in a few minutes.Top product, thanks Audiophonics for the great service as well.

Really good product
I work with professional Broadcast equipment with AES/EBU input and with this product I now have a small battery operated media player with AES/EBU output. Very practical to have for testing and repairing equipment or just listening to music when You are working :-)

Great sound and easy to install.
Very Happy with this HAT, connecting through AES/EBU connector with my Onkyo P3000R pre-amplifier. I installed Ropieee on my Raspbery Pi3B+ and this combination works great with Roon.

Cheers Jan

Works well, prompt delivery, so-so documentation
There are not so many options for AES3 from a Pi HAT, and no others at this price.
Despite the item showing as out of stock and estimated delivery of 5 weeks, it arrived 10 days from ordering.
The only negative relates is the documentation (reason for dropping one star). The documentation is what is on the product web page, and on the silk screen of the PCB (for jumper positions). What is missing? I'd like to have known output voltage level for AES3 to understand viable cable lengths without risk of decoding errors, and a dimensioned drawing of the connector positions and sizes as there is no off the shelf enclosure solution for this HAT (needs to be at least 50mm deep).
Regarding performance & functionality, after setting the power supply jumpers and configuring Moode Audio, it worked first time.
In summary, great to have something quite specialist like this at this price point.

Digipi+ AES
