I am happy that I decided to order this product. Clear upgrade from Okto research dac8, which is also a great product. This Gustard is more musical and at the same time with more detail and nuances. Bass response is fabulous with the lowest end and definitely not boomy at all. Of course you need a top notch source to pair with this wonderful dac. Pricey but still very much of a bargain.
