[GRADE S] FURUTECH FP-S022N Power Cord Cable OFC Copper (Alpha) Ø12.9mm 1.6m

The FP-S022N is a high performance 3 conductor power cable dedicated to uncompromising audio applications. The FP-S022N shows a manufacturing quality and a technicality that leaves no doubt as to the high-end positioning that Furutech wants to give it.

Each conductor consists of a central core with 1 x 37 strands of 0.26mm diameter OFC Alpha α copper, 2 x 37 strands of silver plated copper. Each of these bundles is individually insulated within a 3.4mm diameter polyethylene sheath.

The set then benefits from a double protection with 12mm PVC inner sheath and braided copper shield. This braided sheath has 9x24 strands of 0.12mm type Alpha α conductors.

As is customary with this manufacturer, all metals will have benefited from the proprietary Alpha α anti-magnetism process, itself based on 2 steps:

1 - Cryogenization of metals by -250°C using liquid nitrogen, in order to consolidate their molecular structure and considerably improve their conductivity.

2 - These same metals are subjected to a powerful magnetic field created by means of magnets arranged in rings, whose force of attraction is permanently controlled so as to leave no magnetic residue at the end of the treatment.

This second step, developed in collaboration with the Japanese firm SEKIGUCHI MACHINE SALES, contributes to making FURUTECH cables exceptional conveyors for any electrical signal invested in sound reproduction.
