The Little Dot MKIII SE, the successor to the MKIII, is a tube headphone amplifier that offers excellent audio performance with a signature specific to tube devices, namely a warm but extremely detailed sound. This version adds balanced input and output connections as well as a discrete Class A output stage. The rear panel therefore features RCA Stereo and XLR inputs and the front panel features 6.35mm and XLR 4 pin Jack and XLR outputs. Unlike its big brother, the MKIII SE uses hybrid amplification, based on both a pair of 6N tubes (6922/ECC88) and Solid-State electronic components.

The amplifier also offers a gain that can be adjusted to two positions (x4.5 and x9) using the jumper. By default the amplifier is set to gain x4.5.

All components are integrated in a beautiful and robust Aluminium housing, the tubes being protected by brass cages offering a vintage look to this amplifier. The power supply is directly integrated into the device, also under an Aluminium bell.
