The CEN.GRAND 9I-806 is a headphone amplifier designed to drive high-end headphones. Four output types are available for headphone listening to accommodate the impedance level required for many models. This headphone amplifier delivers top-notch audio performance. Moreover, even if you input a single-ended signal, the internal circuitry will convert it to a balanced signal. So even if you input a single-ended signal, you'll still get the maximum output power.

- The 9i-806 uses a potentiometer to adjust the volume.
- Four output modes are available: Normal, BTL, Parrallel and Active ground.
- Two balanced and two single-ended XLR and RCA inputs.
- Four different headphone outputs: Balanced XLR 4-pin, 2x Jack 6.35mm, 1x balanced Jack 4.4mm and 1x balanced stereo XLR 3-pin.
The output modes of the CEN.GRAND 9I-806 headphone amplifier
The four output modes will allow you to select the ones that best suit your listening preferences or the characteristics of your headphones. Normal mode is used for low impedance headphones and earphones and BTL mode for high impedance headphones. The Parallel mode is effective for medium impedance headphones, increasing the driving force but not the gain. Finally, the Active Ground mode provides a stronger sense of harmonics and is therefore suitable for listening to the human voice or string instruments. This last mode offers a softer and warmer listening experience.
