Output stage ICE POWER TM with a power of 220Wrms under 4ohms. Thanks to its class D technology, its excellent efficiency (80%) and its high damping factor make it compatible with any load impedance greater than or equal to 3 ohms. Great musicality and generous power under a very small footprint!
Section peak limiter with 2 levels 0 and -1dB with "soft clipping". When clipped (excess input level) a sinusoidal signal transforms into a square signal containing an infinity of odd harmonics(distortion).
In a subwoofer application, this distortion distorts the sound and makes it possible to locate the box perfectly because it contains high frequencies.
The clipping limiter associated with the low-pass filter stages (variable or LFE) reduces or eliminates clipping-related distortions.
The technoloX-gard ™ bypasses the disadvantages of a conventional subsonic filter by ensuring that the loudspeaker excursion never exceeds an absolute limit (risk of breakage, very high distortion) whatever the amplitude of the input signal .
This technologyology preserves the signal and its phase (unlike a subsonic filter). The extreme bass is more faithful, the connection with the main speakers more homogeneous and the loudspeaker protected.
It isit is possible to connect the module via pre-out / subwoofer outputs of a preamplifier / processor or directly to the speaker outputs (in parallel) of a conventional stereo amplifier.
Thedule S250 can be bypassed to a high-performance "HiFi" (mono block) broadband use via a simple internal switch. In this case, only the gain setting remains active. This can be used for the production of monitoring speakers, for example.
