A rich output connectivity

The rear panel of the XQ-100 presents numerous outputs in various formats. As far as the digital part is concerned, there are Toslink optical and coaxial, the latter also acting as an output. For the analog section, the device provides both single-ended RCA and balanced XLR output.

SRC Upsampling feature

The XQ-100's built-in SRC function allows it to upsample audio streams up to a sampling rate of 24bit 192kHz. It is thus possible to enjoy a better quality of sound reproduction even with lower resolution files.

OLED Screen

The front panel of the XQ-100 features an OLED display, showing essential information about the current playback. It shows the sample rate of the file as well as the sample rate after upsampling, the Bluetooth codec used and the title of the song.

Dual ES9038Q2M DAC

The digital to analog conversion stage of the XQ-100 is based on the use of two ESS ES9038Q2M chips. Each of them is responsible for one channel, allowing to reach a high SNR and an extremely low THD+N, for a very accurate reproduction.

SPDIF CS8406 Interface

These DAC chips are associated with a CS8406 SPDIF interface at the output, allowing the Bluetooth audio signal to be converted into a high quality signal for the optical and coaxial outputs.

Optimized power supply stage

The power supply stage has also been carefully designed, using a custom transformer ensuring great stability and a very low noise level. This one is associated with Nichicon filtering capacitors, allowing to provide a clean electrical signal to the audio circuits.
