VAN DEN HUL THE MAGNUM HYBRID Speaker Cable

This Van Den Hul The Magnum Hybrid speaker cable features 2x483 strands of OFC copper. Each strand is then plated with pure silver. For each of the 2 conductors, a saturated layer of LSC (Linear Structured Carbon) is placed between the insulation and the group of metal strands, to reduce interface micro-discharges between conductor and insulation. As mentioned earlier, each conductor is made up of 483 strands, bringing the total cross-section of each conductor to 8.54mm², or 8 AWG. The capacitance between the two conductors is 27 pF/m. The DC resistance of each conductor is 0.21 Ohms/100m. The cable sheath is made of red Hulliflex® 5, a high-performance, robust, halogen-free insulating material offering excellent mechanical protection and high chemical stability.
