Truly high-performance signal cables: I've tried several others over time, even more expensive ones. But these are the most natural across all frequencies, respecting the true tone of the instruments, which also appear better defined and very well contoured in space. The sounds are characterized by new harmonics and new subtle ambient echoes, previously muffled or not very evident. The sound has a mix of 'silvery' and 'liquid' in the mid-highs, so it's never at all harsh. There's also more speed and much more rhythm, especially on the percussion. In very crowded orchestral instruments, everything is more easily distinguishable and well-ordered. Another thing I've noticed is the homogeneity of the sound across the entire sound spectrum and an improvement in the height and width of the soundstage. After a few hours of initial listening, you get used to it and you may mistakenly think that the sound has changed compared to before, but perhaps not that much. Then, when you go back to try the old cables, you have the clearest demonstration that there has been a real upgrade and you feel the desire to put the Obsidians back in their place immediately. For me, they are truly definitive cables!
