Furutech LinEFlux NCF
Interconnect Cable RCA OCC Copper NCF 1.2m (Pair)
With the LineFlux NCF, Furutech delivers a beautiful high-end RCA cable. This one ensures a perfect transmission of the signal, thanks to carefully selected materials, to a cryogenic treatment but also to the NCF material developed by the brand.
The core of the cable incorporates two high purity OCC copper conductors treated α (Alpha) of 1.3mm diameter. Each is insulated with a PE jacket. Then comes a polyester fiber filling and a double shielding composed of a PET/AI sheet and a copper braid treated α (Alpha). The whole is then covered by a PVC and NCF sheath and then by a Nylon covering sheath.
The male RCA connectors on these cables take advantage of rhodium-plated, α-treated (Alpha) OCC copper contacts, also incorporating the brand's NCF material. The body of the connector also incorporates this unique material, here silver plated and combined with a carbon cover.
Furutech Nano Crystal² Formula
The cable jacket and connectors use NCF technology. Integrated in a selection of Furutech products, NCF is based on a special crystalline material with two active properties. First, NCF generates negative ions that eliminate static electricity. Secondly, it converts thermal energy into infrared. Furutech combines this material with ceramic nanoparticles and carbon powder for their piezoelectric damping properties. Furutech thus obtains the optimal electrical and mechanical damping material.
α (Alpha) Treatment
Furutech's α (Alpha) treatment, used on conductors and contacts, is a two-step process. The first step involves cryogenizing the conductive material and the second step involves demagnetizing it. This treatment ultimately increases the conductivity of the materials.
