An improved 10th Anniversary Edition

For the 10th anniversary of its excellent X1, Aune offers its headphone amplifier and DAC X1s in an updated version, with better quality components, for an unchanged price. A versatile device designed both for HiFi use and to be associated with a computer.

An high-performance DAC

In this version 10th Anniversary the X1s keeps its excellent ESS ES9018K2M conversion chip with its 3 filtering modes (Fast Roll-Off / Slow Roll-Off / Minimum phase) and its ability to support high resolution audio files : PCM up to 32bit 384kHz and DSD128.

An enhanced version of the X1s

For this revision of the X1S, Aune makes significant modifications to its already excellent device. The brand proposes here a more precise clock for a weaker jitter and a more precise restitution, from new transistors bringing a new dynamic and a changed ECPU to offer a greater musicality. In addition, the modification of the output transistors allows the device to gain power in order to adapt to a wider variety of headsets.

This design allows the device to largely limit its noise to a value of 2µV and a distortion to 0.0003%. Thus, this X1s is able to reproduce a pure and detailed sound. In addition, it also offers 126dB dynamics for impeccable responsiveness.

complete connectivity

The X1s offers a fairly complete standard connection system that will allow you to connect most of your HiFi devices without difficulty. On the inputs side, we mainly recommend the USB input, more powerful but we can also benefit from a Stereo RCA input, a Coaxial input and an Optical input. In addition, it should be noted that it is possible to connect an OTG compatible smartphone to the USB input. On the output side, there is of course a fixed level Stereo RCA and a Coaxial output.

Original and ergonomic design

The X1s offers an original design by adopting a curved case on top and integrating curved lines on each side. Moreover, Aune succeeded in erasing all screws from the surface of its case giving it a monolithic appearance of the most beautiful effect.

Lhe DAC also offers simple and intuitive controls since the front panel potentiometer will allow both adjusting the volume of the digital outputs and selecting a DAC filter. The push button on the front will allow you to choose your source.
