KHADAS TONE2 DAC ES9038Q2M 768kHz DSD512 Blue

The Khadas Tone2 is the second generation of the Tone Board. After a successful first model, Khadas returns with a revised version that incorporates user feedback from the first occurrence. Here, an ESS ES9038Q2M DAC module has been coupled to four operational amplifiers, two OPA1612, and two RT6862.
The Tone2's aluminum enclosure incorporates a hybrid digital/analog volume control knob, allowing you to rely entirely on analog signal attenuation for precise sound reproduction.

Input connectors are located on the back panel. There's an SPDIF (coaxial) connector, plus two USB-C ports. With this dual port, you can connect a 5V linear power supply to the second USB-C port and still have data data transmission through the first USB-C port, providing excellent isolation from interference generated by the power supply.
Finally, Khadas has added a balanced RCA output, an industry first. These new RCA ports have three signal pins instead of two, while keeping the same size and shape as ordinary RCA ports, ensuring compatibility with traditional RCA cables.
