The FiiO ECHO NANO is a portable audio player that also serves as a USB DAC, designed to play a music library on the go or improve the audio conversion of a smartphone, tablet or computer. Its CS43131 chip supports PCM files up to 24 bit/192 kHz and DSD up to DSD256, to reproduce high-resolution recordings from the device or a USB source.
Designed for on-the-go listening, it combines micro-SD card playback, built-in controls and compatibility with the in-line controls of CTIA earphones. Its compact format and OLED screen make it easy to use daily, while the USB DAC mode allows it to be integrated into different devices depending on listening needs.
FiiO ECHO NANO: Portable audio player and DAC
The FiiO ECHO NANO combines a mobile audio player and a USB DAC in a compact chassis inspired by MP3 players. Its CS43131 conversion chip supports PCM files up to 24 bit/192 kHz and DSD up to DSD256, to play high-resolution recordings or improve the audio conversion of a smartphone, tablet or computer.
FiiO ECHO NANO: USB conversion and audio formats
UAC-compatible, the ECHO NANO works in plug-and-play as an external sound card: connected to a compatible device, it bypasses its internal audio circuit and entrusts the conversion to its dedicated DAC chip. The UAC mode also allows charging to be disabled, in order to limit the drain on the smartphone's battery during listening. In local playback, the device supports the DSD, WAV, FLAC, APE, MP3, M4A and OGG formats.
FiiO ECHO NANO: Screen and controls
Its 0.91-inch OLED screen displays playback information with reduced power consumption, which helps preserve autonomy. The multifunction wheel built into the top of the chassis combines volume adjustment, power management and screen activation. The in-line controls of CTIA-compatible earphones also allow you to start or pause playback, change tracks and adjust the volume.
FiiO ECHO NANO: Storage and design
The micro-SD slot accepts cards up to 256 GB, allowing you to keep a music library on the device rather than relying on the smartphone's storage. Its aluminum and magnesium alloy chassis, CNC-machined, combines a pocket format with a finish designed to withstand daily wear. The ECHO NANO can thus serve as a standalone player or a USB DAC, depending on the source and listening mode sought.
