CYP CP-295NN is a video scaler with a wide connectivity. It allows you to connect your audio / video devices that still use a composite / S-video connector to a modern TV or monitor that uses HDMI input.

Its primary purpose is to convert and adapt the video signal from your low-definition sources to make it compliant with the high-definition standards required by modern viewing devices (standard and HDTV resolutions up to 1080p / WUXGA). It supports NTSC signals, NTSC4, PAL, PAL-M, PAL-N and SECAM and can perform VGA upscaling to WUXGA 1080p and 480p.

Using the CYP CP-295NN is easy thanks to the unit's ability to automatically detect the best parameters for the connected display and automatically adapt the output resolution and refresh rate.

This video Scaler supports 3D adaptive deinterlacing technology and framerate conversions : 3/2 : 2/2.

CP295NN also has its own digital to analog conversion circuit which allows it to function as an audio extractor on its 3.5mm analog jack.

Its outputs feature is a HDMI connector for TV / modern displays, an optical output to isolate the digital audio stream and an analog audio audio jack 3.5mm connector. All outputs can work simultaneously, allowing to meet the needs for very exotic connection scenarios.

Video adjustment options

In addition to its function of upscaling the CP295NN has a range of options to improve the picture. Three buttons on the front panel are used to access to a on-screen-display menu and enable the adjustment of contrast, brightness, hue, saturation, sharpness, color tone, levels and image ratio on the screen.

This well thought OSD menu also allow changing the behavior and preferences regarding audio / video outputs (enable or disable one or more outputs).
