KECES P9 DUAL Ultra Low Noise Regulated Linear Power Supply

The Keces P9 Dual is a low-noise regulated linear power supply, a direct successor to the P8, designed to provide stable, clean power to sensitive audio components. It delivers up to 5A per rail, with a peak capacity of 7A, utilising an in-house developed toroidal transformer, whose precise winding and carefully selected materials stabilise the voltage whilst limiting electrical interference upstream of the circuit power supply.

This approach is further enhanced by a fully discrete circuit design, inspired by the P28, which prioritises precise and independent regulation of each stage, thereby maintaining a constant power supply without relying on integrated circuits. Building on this foundation, the ground isolation for each output separates the power rails, reducing interference between connected devices whilst ensuring a uniform power distribution.

The focus on noise reduction is also reflected in a design with very low ripple, maintaining a DC voltage free from unwanted components to ensure a clean and stable power supply. In line with this, the inclusion of gold-plated DC connectors minimises contact resistance, whilst the mains input module, wired with OCC silver and combined with a 2 oz copper PCB, optimises current flow and the handling of transient surges.

Designed for simultaneous power supply to multiple devices, it combines dual independent outputs, a dedicated earth terminal block and high current capacity, enabling the integration of a variety of configurations whilst managing electrical interactions. This design ensures silent operation, even at full load, with no 50Hz humming, whilst the built-in thermal protection monitors operating conditions to ensure long-term stability.
