The QP02 power supply made by Quloos is a powerful linear regulated power supply (LPS) designed with high-end components. This power supply features two DC 12V 5A outputs, making it possible to power two devices simultaneously. The power supply of your Hi-Fi system is an important factor in obtaining a clean, stable signal, as the electrical signal is the basis of any sound impulse.

High-end components

As the power supply of any Hi-Fi system has an impact on sound quality, Quloos has chosen high-end components for its QP02 power supply. These include an Schurter IEC socket with fuse, a Nuvoten Talema toroidal transformer, a Philips electrolytic capacitor, a Siemens non-inductive film capacitor, a Vishay MKP1837 capacitor and a Wima MKP10 capacitor.

Each DC output uses an LT1084 supply voltage regulator chip, linear, low noise and high current capability. An LT1084 regulator can deliver 5A continuous current, and features 0.015% line regulation and 0.01% load regulation.
