Moondrop x Crinacle Dusk in-ear monitors are IEMs with a multi-driver configuration. They feature 2 dynamic drivers, 2 balanced armature drivers and 2 planar magnetic drivers. The planar magnetic drivers deliver low-distortion sound reproduction with smooth, detailed highs, while the Ø10mm dynamic drivers benefit from a H.O.D.D.D.U.S (“Horizontally-Opposed Double Dynamic Driver Module”) layout for deep bass. These headphones feature standard CIEM 0.78mm connectors and two detachable cables: a 3.5mm jack-terminated cable and a USB-C-terminated cable featuring a DAC/DSP chip. The USB-C cable supports sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and the Moondrop Link 2.0 application. The Dusk IEMs are quality headphones with a wide range of features.
Moondrop x Crinacle Dusk: 2DD + 2BA + 2Planar configuration
The combination of these different drivers produces a balanced sound reproduction with detailed highs and deep bass. The two planar magnetic drivers handle the treble, the balanced armatures the midrange, while the two Ø10mm dynamic drivers in H.O.D.D.U.S configuration handle the bass. The use of planar magnetic drivers significantly reduces the level of distortion.
Moondrop x Crinacle Dusk: H.O.D.D.D.U.S configuration
The symmetrical configuration of the dynamic drivers acts on their magnetic field to reduce the level of non-linear distortion. In addition, their paper dome avoids undesirable resonance effects for a natural rendering.
Moondrop x Crinacle Dusk: 3.5mm jack & USB-C termination
Two cables are supplied with the Dusk. A classic cable with 3.5mm jack termination and a USB-C cable. The USB-C cable features an integrated DAC/DSP. Coupled with the Moondrop Link 2.0 application, it supports sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 384kHz. In addition, 5 types of acoustic settings are available, allowing you to fine-tune the final sound.
Moondrop x Crinacle Dusk: Moondrop Link 2.0 application
The Moondrop Link 2.0 application provides access to an interactive DSP. This DSP lets you configure customized equalization, as well as take advantage of various standard profiles pre-recorded by the brand or by users of the application.
Please note that iOS devices do not allow you to share your configurations online, due to iOS restrictions.
