Simgot EG280 Hybrid In-Ear Monitors IEM 1DD + 1 Planar 32 Ohms 119 dB 20Hz-20kHz
The Simgot EG280 are hybrid in-ear monitors combining a dynamic driver and a planar magnetic driver to deliver precise, detailed, and well-balanced sound reproduction. Featuring an impedance of 32Ω ±15% (@ 1kHz), a sensitivity of 119dB/Vrms (@ 1kHz), and a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz, they are easy to drive from a smartphone, computer, digital audio player, or DAC/headphone amplifier. They are equipped with detachable 0.78mm 2-pin connectors and come with a 1.7m high-purity OFC copper cable terminated with a 3.5mm jack, along with a USB-C adapter for broad compatibility with modern mobile devices. The package also includes six pairs of silicone ear tips (S/M/L, black and transparent), one pair of foam ear tips (S/M/L), a carrying case, a warranty card, and a user guide.
Simgot EG280: Hybrid Dynamic + Planar Architecture
The Simgot EG280 combines the complementary strengths of a dynamic driver, capable of delivering deep and natural bass, with those of a planar magnetic driver, renowned for its fast transient response, low distortion, and outstanding detail retrieval. This hybrid architecture provides balanced and faithful sound reproduction across the entire audible frequency spectrum.
Simgot EG280: Advanced Gaming Features
The Simgot EG280 comes with a USB-C adapter integrating a gaming DAC equipped with a DSP chip supporting PCM streams up to 32bit / 384kHz. Combined with Parametric EQ (PEQ) technology, it optimizes sound reproduction for both music listening and gaming. Several EQ presets are available to suit different game genres (FPS, MOBA, rhythm games, and AAA titles), improving soundstage accuracy, spatial positioning of effects, and footstep detection. Thanks to its wired connection, the EG280 also delivers latency-free audio transmission with no compression or interference, ensuring perfect synchronization between sound and image.
Simgot EG280: Simgot Control App
The USB-C DAC supplied with the Simgot EG280 is compatible with the Simgot Control app on Android, as well as with a web interface accessible from Windows and macOS computers. This platform allows users to adjust EQ settings, select different sound profiles, and customize audio effects to suit their needs. Due to MFi certification restrictions, the app is currently unavailable on iOS; however, iPhone users can still modify EQ settings through the dedicated web interface. Please note that the gaming DAC is not compatible with devices using the UAC 1.0 protocol, such as Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles. In this case, the earphones should be used via their 3.5mm jack connection.
Simgot EG280: Detachable Cable and Wide Compatibility
The EG280 uses 0.78mm 2-pin connectors, allowing the original cable to be easily replaced or upgraded. The supplied 1.7m high-purity OFC copper cable ensures reliable signal transmission and is terminated with a 3.5mm jack plug. A USB-C adapter is also included, allowing the earphones to be connected directly to smartphones, tablets, and compatible devices without a headphone output.
