With Fission, Tanchjim offers in-ear monitors equipped with a dynamic driver coupled with a DMT5 magnetic circuit and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) design for a wide soundstage, impressive dynamics and rich bass. These earphones offer numerous sound customisation options via built-in filters and acoustic nozzles, allowing you to tailor them perfectly to your tastes.
Tanchjim Fission : Aluminium body
The Fission series features the brand's signature sleek and minimalist design, with a CNC-machined, anodised and sandblasted aluminium body that offers a durable texture that is pleasant to the touch.
Tanchjim Fission : DMT5 driver
The Fission speakers are based on a composite dynamic driver with a 5th generation DMT magnetic circuit. This proprietary Tanchjim technology provides a higher magnetic flux, resulting in improved dynamic range and sensitivity, as well as reduced harmonic distortion to just 0.56% at 94dB.
Furthermore, in order to best support this magnetic circuit, the Fission speakers also feature an acoustic cavity developed using the FEA (Finite Element Analysis) method, which allows for precise visualisation of vibration propagation in order to optimise low-frequency resonance.
Tanchjim Fission : Tailor-made sound
The Fission offers four modes with different sound rendering thanks to a dial that can be operated directly on the earphones. Once paired with the three acoustic nozzles provided, which also modify sound reproduction, you have access to a total of 12 sound profiles.
Tanchjim Fission : Hydrophobic filters
Fission dust filters feature a hydrophobic DWR coating, making them naturally resistant to moisture and therefore more durable.
Tanchjim Fission : A high-quality cable with swappable connectors
The Fission comes with a high-quality silver-plated copper cable with silver shielding. This cable has swappable connectors and comes with 3.5mm, 4.4mm and USB-C plugs. It's also worth noting that the USB-C connector has a DSP that can be used with the Tanchjim app, available here, to enjoy customisable 5-band equalisation.
