With the Origin, Tanchjim unveils high-quality in-ear monitors designed to deliver faithful, dynamic sound. The design of this model has been meticulously thought through, from the driver to the internal structure of the IEMs, to ensure exceptional sound quality.
Five generations of products for a model of excellence
Tanchjim Origin IEMs use a DMT5 10mm dynamic driver. This high-end model is combined with a double magnetic cavity, ensuring high magnetic flux, low distortion, high dynamics and high efficiency. Harmonic distortion is measured at less than 0.056% (at 1kHz, 94dB), helping to deliver beautiful tonal quality, a wider soundstage and perfect separation.
Tanchjim Origin: A composite membrane that's both rigid and flexible
The membrane specially designed for the DMT5 magnetic circuit and the acoustic cavities of the Origin monitors, combined with an optimized internal design, ensure that these IEM deliver precise, rich reproduction with beautiful dynamics.
Tanchjim Origin: Low-distortion waveguide
Waveguide surfaces are optimized to improve modal distribution efficiency and high-frequency acoustic energy transfer. The result is better overall sound quality.
Tanchjim Origin: Interchangeable acoustic tubes
Tanchjim Origin acoustic tubes can be easily unscrewed and replaced by the other models supplied. In addition to the Standard (S) tube, Dynamic (D) and Light (L) models are supplied. The internal geometry of the three models is slightly different, allowing the Tanchjim Origin's sound reproduction to be adapted.
Tanchjim Origin: Optimized ventilation system
The combination of the rear cavity structure and the ventilation grille enhances the dynamic range of DMT5 loudspeakers.
Tanchjim Origin: Double composite cover
The Tanchjim Origin IEMs feature a double cover to protect the inside of the headphones. A stainless steel grille retains large impurities, while a DWR acoustic fabric filters out fine particles while remaining waterproof.

The Tanchjim Origin benefit from an ultra-linear frequency response, the result of numerous measurements and tests. The result is a faithful, transparent sound that perfectly respects your music.
Tanchjim Origin: A refined, luxurious design
The Tanchjim Origin have a sober, modern design, combining soft curves with a 3D-engraved logo. The body of these headphones is made of 304 stainless steel, offering perfect resistance to oxidation for enhanced durability.
Tanchjim Origin: High-quality cable
The cable supplied with the Tanchjim Origin uses OFC 6N copper conductors, ensuring excellent conductivity for perfect signal transmission. The connectors are gold-plated.
Tanchjim Origin: T-APB tips
The T-APB eartips supplied with Tanchjim Origin earphones are designed to provide excellent wearing comfort while limiting hearing fatigue caused by differences in internal and external acoustic pressure. What's more, these models also deliver high-quality sound reproduction. Three sizes are supplied (S/M/L).
