The Wondom AA‑KA32172 KAB0 is a compact amplifier module designed for integrated audio output in standalone and embedded systems. It delivers 3 W of power under 4 ohms, using a dual NS4168 chip architecture to ensure stable performance on low-impedance loads, while maintaining a form factor and power consumption compatible with space-constrained integrations.
Designed for equipment requiring rapid and reproducible implementation, it combines ease of integration, robust operation and flexible control, enabling the transmission of audio messages or audio interfaces without software complexity. This approach allows it to play a central functional role in industrial or commercial installations, while maintaining electrical and thermal behaviour suitable for continuous operation.
The USB‑C audio input simultaneously provides signal transmission and module power, reducing cabling and speeding up integration into space-constrained systems. This architecture relies on native driverless recognition, ensuring immediate compatibility with host platforms and eliminating any software dependencies that could affect maintenance or installation reproducibility.
The module delivers 3 W of power under 4 ohms, relying on the use of two NS4168 amplifier chips to maintain stable output on low-impedance loads. This approach ensures a usable sound level in open or semi-noisy environments, while maintaining thermal behaviour compatible with closed integration.
The design of the AA‑KA32172 KAB0 has been validated by MTBF tests and HALT and HASS protocols, which simulate high mechanical and thermal stresses as well as premature ageing. This approach makes it possible to anticipate failure modes and guarantee consistent operation in demanding operating environments characterised by continuous stress or variable environmental conditions.
A port dedicated to connecting external potentiometers allows you to control volume, adjust bass and treble equalisation, or control a crossover, enabling fine-tuning of audio performance to suit the context of use. This versatility is extended by the presence of an analogue line input, offering an alternative to USB‑C for systems requiring an analogue audio source, without compromising the overall consistency of the integration.
