NEUTRIK NP2XX-SILENT Connector Jack 6.35mm Mono Ø7mm (Unit)
This Neutrik NP2XX-SILENT jack connector is a 6.35mm jack mono connector. This 2-pole connector features gold-plated contacts for corrosion and oxidation resistance, and a rubber body. It incorporates a built-in short circuit system to eliminate noise and POP when changing the connection of a loaded instrument such as a guitar. In other words, as soon as the SILENT plug is removed from the instrument, the built-in magnetic switch short-circuits the contacts.
Please note that this connector is designed for use with instruments only. Using it with an amplifier-side connection may cause the amplifier to break.
