Delivering high efficiency and low distortion, the Dayton Audio DMA58-4 is an ideal full-range driver for a modern compact speaker design. Its motor uses two neodymium magnets to create a strong and symmetrical magnetic field for perfect diaphragm control. The careful design of the DMA58-4 also reduces inductance and distortion, improving high-frequency response. The double-layer voice coil is wound on a widely ventilated aluminum support, allowing for excellent heat dissipation, power handling and low compression. The aluminum diaphragm is held in place by a rubber suspension and a large basket, providing excellent mechanical damping.
