Its motor uses two neodymium magnets to create a strong, balanced magnetic field for perfect diaphragm control. The DMA70-8's careful design also reduces inductance and distortion, improving high-frequency response. The double-layer voice coil is wound on a widely ventilated aluminum support, allowing for excellent heat dissipation, power handling and low compression. The aluminum diaphragm is held in place by a rubber surround and a large frame, providing excellent mechanical damping.
