The Dayton Audio MB820-8 is a bass midrange speaker of 20.32cm (8"), with an impedance of 8Ω, designed for two- or three-way professional loudspeakers. Its power handling of 200W RMS (400W maximum), its sensitivity of 94dB (2.83V / 1m) and its usable response from 100 to 7500Hz allow it to produce high levels while covering a wide frequency range.
Its lightweight paper cone, its cloth surround and its 40 oz ferrite motor with a 5.08cm (2") voice coil promote low-distortion dynamic reproduction. With a maximum linear excursion of 4mm, it fits equally well into PA loudspeakers as into hi-fi, automotive or musical instrument systems, particularly for bass and keyboard.
