The Dayton Audio PM180-8 bass-midrange driver is based on the same design type as the Point Source broadband driver range. It will allow the design of multi-way loudspeakers with a wide frequency band reproduced in the midrange and lowrange midrange. In addition, the contained size of this loudspeaker is ideal for mounting a system of reasonable size, without sacrificing performance and sound accuracy.

The PM range of low-medium drivers provides linear and integrated sound reproduction of the Nedymus Klippel engines, greatly reducing distortion. The membrane is made of paper reinforced with Kevlar and allows to obtain an excellent performance and a very nice precision. The PM range speakers can ideally be combined with a ribbon or planar-magnetic tweeter.
