The Furutech Pure Power 6E NCF was designed based on the theory that the role of a power supply unit, besides the power distribution itself, should be the absorption / elimination of high frequency noise. The quality of the power supply signal is indeed inseparable from the sound quality of your HiFi system. High-end audio devices, while they can reveal an incredibly detailed sound, are also capable of revealing problems that may originate in the power supply chain.

Thus, the Pure Power 6E NCF, through the use of specifically developed materials, efficient isolation and grounding methods, incorporates an induction and absorption architecture to eliminate noise, with the aim of reducing high frequency and electromagnetic noise. A method that allows a dramatic reduction of noise between 2MHz and 10MHz and a complete elimination of noise at 100MHz.

A luxurious design

The Pure Power 6E NCF is sumptuously integrated into a massive, high quality, precision CNC machined aluminum alloy chassis that effectively protects against RFI (radio frequency interference). Three separate milled compartments house three independently wired sections using silver-plated, fluoropolymer-shielded Alpha-OFC copper conductors. The IEC conductors are wound in a large central chamber secured by eight rivets and using Formula GC-303 EMI absorbing material.

Furutech's patented GTX-D NCF connectors reinforce the vaulted construction, ensuring the tightest and most secure fit for the power supply cable. Connectors that are additionally tapped at 25mm into the aluminum for a perfect fit. The mounting plates at the top and bottom of each double socket are held firmly against the chassis with thick aluminum blocks, exerting pressure across the entire width of these plates. Each pair of grips is further stabilized by double axial locks. Two factory-tightened screws anchor each grip at two points for perfect mechanical integrity. The entire system is supported by four elegantly machined adjustable feet, ensuring the stability of the system.

The three socket pairs are not wired to the incoming ground, but use a floating ground. The ground wire of the input IEC fitting is firmly attached to the chassis at the bottom of the central chamber before it is filled with GC-303, further isolating the ground. To ensure user safety, the Power 6 NCF must be grounded at its dedicated terminal located near the IEC input.
