The EVO series at Mundorf is intended to offer very high audio precision at a low price and with minimal space-use
Its polypropylene film (PP) is metallized with a layer of aluminum as thick as possible and with a proprietary geometry (Evolution Winding). The coil is then hand-mounted in a shell designed to reduce vibrations.

All these features contribute to a very lively audio reproduction that deeply respects microdynamics and stereophony. The whole EVO series is compliant to the highest standards of safety (self-healing).

Rigid wires for connections are long enough to allow vertical or horizontal mounting. Note that the shorter tab indicates the outer sheet of the capacitor.

This model belongs to the EVO Oil range introducing an oil impregnation step of the polypropylene (PP) films before building the coil. This maneuver removes residual air bubbles with formidable efficiency, which drastically reduces the electrical and mechanical losses associated with vibrations.

L'excellence
Acheté un ensemble de condensateurs Mundorf pour refaire filtres sur Cabasse Clipper M1 de 1978 (hauts parleurs, contrôlés par technicien spécialisé, parfait état. On comprend pourquoi M Cabasse garantissait ses enceintes à vie).
Câbles de HP neufs Hi-fi Câbles et Compagnie Paris, borniers ETI BP 20c, acheté ici, excellents.

Bien entendu le gain de qualité est énorme, même bien au delà de ce que j'attendais sur ces enceintes achetées neuves en 1978, pas toutes jeunes, comme moi :D
Juste 2 chiffres, aigus -6db pour un volume doublé et limite des graves passés de 50hz (point faible de ces gros boomers 30cm) à... 38hz. Les médiums, réputés chauds, à raison, sont devenus d'une justesse et d'une véracité scotchante.
Même neuves je n'avais jamais entendu ces enceintes marcher comme ça !!
À noter, ces condensateurs sont assez gros, bien plus que ceux d'origine donc délicats à installer sur la carte d'origine des filtres mais ça se fait.
Perte de puissance ampli mais revenue après les 5 ou 6 pemières heures de rodage.
Excellents condensateurs que je recommande sans réserve :-)
