The Denafrips Arce is a digital transport network player that prioritizes sound quality above all else. This remarkable device supports Roon Bridge, HQPlayer NAA, AirPlay, and DLNA, meeting the needs of audiophiles looking for a variety of playback options. It also offers smooth playback of local files via USB, SD card, and NAS, allowing users to effortlessly enjoy their music library. The network connection is made via the RJ45 Ethernet port, while the signal output can be made via numerous digital ports: AES/EBU, coaxial, Toslink optical, or I2S LVDS via HDMI. Other connectors allow you to connect an external clock or play local files via USB Host or TF card slot. The Arce is capable of delivering up to 32bit 384kHz and DSD256 via its I2S output, providing ultra-high-resolution streaming to the DAC in your Hi-Fi system.
The Denafrips Arce is not autonomous in network playback (it cannot directly access streaming services) and requires the use of a third-party application (such as BubbleUPnP, Mconnect, Roon, or Audirvana, for example) for music control and playback.
