The TI OPA1612 dual operational amplifier benefits from excellent technical characteristics, allowing very good electrical and audio performance. It ensures a very low noise density of 1.1-nV/√Hz as well as an extremely low distortion level of 0.000015% at 1kHz. This OPA has a rail-to-rail output toggle at 600mV with a 2K Ohm load, improving the headroom and maximizing the dynamic range. This model also benefits from a high output capacity of +/-30mA.

It can be supplied over a wide range of voltages, from +/-2.25V to +/-18V, with a current of only 3.6mA per channel. This OPA has a stable unit gain, giving it excellent dynamics over a wide range of loads.

The circuits of OPA1612 are also completely independent, in order to considerably limit crosstalk and interactions between channels.

The operational amplifier is mounted on a DIP8 socket and can therefore be very simply installed on a PCB with a connector of this type.

Par rapport au ne5532, cet aop offre de meilleures bass,, moins de bruit donc plus de définition et de musicalité.

Pas complètement homogène
cet AOP généralement très plébiscité pour ses caractéristiques techniques n'est pas optimal sur tous les systèmes. Bon équilibre des registres sans atténuation du grave contrairement à un LME49720; très bonne définition mais aigu trop franc, pouvant facilement tendre à l'agressivité. Image stéréo large mais profondeur pouvant être meilleure (un très léger voile est perceptible). Cet OPA1612 n'est pas parvenu à détrôner mon préféré, à savoir le TLE2142 CP de Texas Instruments.

Excellent ampli OP
Utilisés en remplacement des NE5532 dans le kit préamplificateur Velleman K 8084, ils donnent d'excellents résulttats : plus de transparence et moins de buit de fond. Très recommandé.

Super OP amps. J'ai tout testé de l OPA1612, OPA627, Genuine NE5532, OPA1611, OPA1622, Burson V5i, MC33272 etc etc

Avec les OPA1656 = la crème de la crème, les OPA1612 restent mes préférés. Ils apportent du micro détails, améliorent grandement la scène sonore, et subliment le hut du spectre.
