The Texas Instruments OPA828IDR is a single-channel operational amplifier with a JFET input, designed for applications requiring low noise, high precision and wide bandwidth. Housed in an 8-pin SOIC-8 package, it features a voltage noise density of just 4nV/√Hz at 1kHz, a gain-bandwidth product of 45MHz and a slew rate of 150V/µs. It also offers low input offset voltage, reduced temperature drift and low input bias current, with a supply voltage ranging from ±4V to ±18V (8 to 36V total) and a typical current consumption of 5.5mA.
Designed in particular for audio and analog circuits requiring precise amplification, the OPA828 is also suitable for filters, transimpedance amplifiers for current-to-voltage conversion, high-resolution data acquisition systems and high-impedance sensor interfaces. It is a surface-mount electronic component designed to be soldered onto a compatible printed circuit board.
