Following on from the TC44B and TC44C portable DACs for smartphones, DD HiFi has unveiled the TC44Pro, the third generation in its range. It features a male USB-C connector and a female balanced Jack 4.4mm. It features not one but two CS43131 DACs for efficient digital/analogue conversion of the audio signal, for clear, rich and precise playback. The TC44Pro supports high sampling rates up to PCM 24bit 384kHz and DSD256. The design features an aluminium shell and a panel made from 1800D carbon fibre, a flexible, lightweight material that dissipates heat and protects the internal circuitry.
