With the DS3, Fosi Audio presents a compact DAC and headphone amplifier featuring an ESS ES9039Q2M chip and an XMOS interface, supporting signals up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512. It also offers a virtual 7.1 mode that improves spatialisation, which is particularly useful for gaming. Finally, its CNC-machined aluminium chassis with tempered glass window not only looks great, but also guarantees rock-solid robustness.
Fosi Audio DS3: ESS DAC chip and XMOS interface
The DS3 features a high-end ESS ES9039Q2M DAC chip coupled with an optimised XMOS USB interface. This architecture allows native playback of high-resolution files up to 32bit 768kHz PCM, as well as DSD512, enabling faithful and detailed reproduction of your favourite tracks.
