The Shanling UA7 is a high-end portable USB-C DAC featuring a hybrid headphone amplifier that combines cutting-edge digital components with visible analog tubes for a customizable sound signature. Designed to meet the needs of discerning music lovers, it supports high-resolution formats up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and native DSD512, while delivering generous output power (up to 577mW into 32Ω on the 4.4mm balanced output).
This audiophile converter is compatible with Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS via USB-C without the need for drivers, as well as with consoles supporting UAC 1.0, making it a versatile solution for music, games, or video content. Its compact machined aluminum design, intuitive OLED display, and single-ended 3.5 mm + balanced 4.4 mm connectivity make it a powerful audio companion for both home and mobile use.
At the heart of the Shanling UA7 is the ESS Sabre ES9069 DAC, renowned for its excellent performance in terms of dynamics, precision, and low distortion. This latest-generation chip delivers extremely detailed sound reproduction that respects the micro-information and spatialization of recordings. The UA7 supports PCM audio files up to 32bit 768kHz as well as native DSD512, ensuring full compatibility with high-resolution audio libraries and Hi-Res streaming platforms. This architecture ensures smooth, natural, and balanced listening, whether you're listening to acoustic music or modern productions rich in dynamics.

One of the main advantages of the Shanling UA7 is its switchable hybrid amplification, offering two distinct sound signatures:
This flexibility allows you to adapt the sound to the headphones you are using, the style of music, or simply your mood at the moment, making the UA7 a particularly versatile DAC.
Thanks to its powerful amplification, the Shanling UA7 is capable of driving both sensitive in-ear headphones and more power-hungry portable or stationary headphones. It has two headphone outputs:
This dual connectivity allows you to take full advantage of high-end balanced headphones while maintaining great versatility of use.

The Shanling UA7 connects via a USB-C input, providing both power and audio data transmission. It is plug-and-play compatible with:
It also supports UAC 1.0 and UAC 2.0 modes, ensuring broad compatibility with many multimedia devices and game consoles.
In addition to the built-in controls, the UA7 can be configured via the Shanling Eddict Player app. This gives you access to advanced settings such as gain, DAC digital filters, volume control, and amplifier mode selection.
This approach offers an excellent balance between immediate ease of use and advanced customization, appealing to both novice users and seasoned audiophiles.
The Shanling UA7 features a CNC-machined aluminum chassis, ensuring robustness, efficient heat dissipation, and a premium finish. Despite the integration of vacuum tubes, its compact dimensions and light weight of approximately 48g make it perfectly suited for portable use, attached to a smartphone or slipped into a pocket.
The glass front highlights the two JAN6418 tubes, the UA7's distinctive features, providing both a strong visual identity and a very real sound function. The design is completed by a 0.87" OLED screen, which is easy to read and offers good contrast, displaying essential information in real time such as volume level, the audio format being played, and the selected amplification mode.
A multifunction wheel on the side provides precise volume control and intuitive menu navigation, without having to rely on an external app.
