200W amplifier dedicated low exciters
This integrated amplifier by Dayton Audio allows you to easily install one or two bass shakers to galvanize your installation. Be it audio-only system, home theater or a gaming station .
It is capable of developing a power of 2x110W under 2Ω stereo and can be easily bridged to reach 200W mono on sub 4Ω load.
BSA-200 provides a front low pass filter setting and a stereo calibration when used in dual channel mode.
An output line allows to chain up to 4 BSA-200 to integrate speakers / extra bass shakers. The installation can thus evolve easily.
Finally, a wired remote control allows distant control of volume and power on / power off in order to overcome any space constraints.
the BSA200 is an integrated amplifier dedicated to bass shakers. It will be particularly suitable to power a bass shaker installed under a chair or under a sofa to perfect the immersion in your home theater or gaming station.
However, it remains capable of operating a conventional bass speaker and may be connected to a woofer / subwoofer as part of a more conventional audio system.
With two amplification channels that can each drive up to 110W RMS into 2Ω, BSA 200 permits extensive facilities that support stereo. This emphasizes dynamics without unbalancing the soundstage.
To facilitate installation and allow you to quickly find the optimal settings, the BSA200 has a front filter selector.
This filter is adjustable from 50 to 200Hz. It ensures perfect integration of the shaker, respecting the installed speaker type and the natural properties of your listening room.
If the stereo mode is used, each channel can be balanced at all times from the front pannel to further refine the accuracy of the system ,.
The BSA200 can be used in two channels as well as in bridge mode. If you need more power this can be done very easily.
The transition from one mode to the other is designed to simplify your life with a slide button on the back of the case designed to switch between modes without incident.
However, traditional instructions are to be followed to switch from stereo mode to bridge mode: turn off the device and reconfigure the wiring foremost (in stereo mode, the left right channels are separated while they are wired together in bridge mode).
This amplifier has a function to indentify silence from signal. If this feature is enabled, the BSA-200 will automatically turn itself on as soon as a voltage greater or equal to 10mV input is detected.
This function much like a sequencing by trigger performs similar functions without requiring any additional wiring.
All parameters regarding the operation of the integrated amplifier can be accessed from distance through a wired control.
The latter provides access to the on / off and volume control of the device.
This approach is all the more relevant as it allows to position the BSA-200 to a non-accessible location while maintaining full access to its general functions.
If you ever need to develop your installation of shakers, the BSA200 is equipped with additional RCA output that can be connected to a second BSA200. Thus it will be possible to supply 2x2-channel 110W or 200W 2x1 channels.
It is possible to connect 4xBSA200 with each other max, which allows up to 8 speakers shakers connected to the same audio system.
