An excellent volume controller

As its name suggests, the device incorporates a volume control based on a NJW1194 TI chip offering very good audio performance. This allows a very precise volume adjustment from -96 to 0dB. This chip allows to obtain a very low distortion of 0.004%, a dynamic range of 117B, a THD+N of 0.001% at 1kHz and a crosstalk of -120dBFS.

Connectic

The Audiophonics NJW1194 offers both classic connectivity with 4x stereo RCA inputs but adds Bluetooth in version 5.0, thanks to its JL AC1820AP chip. It is thus possible to stream your music remotely from a device with this connectivity such as a smartphone or tablet for example. Bluetooth version 5.0 ensures excellent stability and transmission speed for quality listening. A Bluetooth antenna is included to improve transmission.

The output side is simply one stereo RCA to connect the NJW1194 to an amplifier.
The unit's power supply circuit incorporates efficient multi-channel regulation to significantly reduce noise.

Power circuit

The quality of the power supply being decisive in the quality of the sound reproduction of an audio system, the Audiophonics NJW1194 benefits from a neat circuit. Thus, it integrates an efficient multi-cana regulation allowing to limit considerably the noise as well as an EMI / RFI filter allowing to filter the interferences which could generate noise.

Simple but effective design

In terms of design and ergonomics, the Audiophonics NJW1194 is simple and efficient. The components are integrated in a robust brushed aluminium housing with the most beautiful effect. A 51 x 20mm front panel screen displays both the active source from the 4 available and the sound volume, the latter up to an absolute value of 100. The white LED display provides excellent readability for easy adjustments. The unit also comes with an infrared remote control, allowing access to all settings, including volume adjustment, mute mode and source selection.

nice
everything is fine, happy I am, except for the missing remote battery and alimentation cable.
bluetooth name (of my device at least) is QCC3008
remote is a leTV one ? black, small, clean,with a label wrote in corean I think, its fine by me :)

Ce à quoi l on s attendait
Rapport qualité prix excellent, fait bien son job avec un bon son.
Le BT est très correct.
Seul bémol livré sans cordon d alimentation ni pile dans la telecommande

Specs not quite right
The specs are misleading, because this is not a dual mono design, and the chip datasheet clearly shows that crosstalk of -120db is at low frequencies, but rises steeply at high frequencies. This could have likely corrected with a dual mono design. Otherwise sound is very transparent.

How to enter the tone adjustment mode method:
- Press and hold the Volume button. the display“Treble” will twinkle.
- Then rotate the volume button to adjust the Treble +/ -10dB range.
- Press one time again the Volume button. the display“Bass” will twinkle. Then rotate the volume button to adjust the BASS +/ -10dB range.
