Class A balanced preamplifier

The Musician Monoceros uses a 60 step volume control, based on the use of a microprocessor and a relay control. The precision resistors used allow a perfect balance between the channels and ensure a THD+N of only 0.0003%.

Discrete power supply stage

The Musician Monoceros' discrete power supply stage features a 60W toroidal copper coil transformer. This carefully designed power supply ensures low noise and deep bass, while providing a rich, accurate sound with a wide soundstage.

Non-destructive volume control

The sound quality of a conventional potentiometer can vary with the volume level, due to a non-constant impedance. Here, the device uses a high-end, non-destructive volume control and correction algorithm.

DC coupling

The signal path takes advantage of DC coupling, without the use of coupling capacitors that can affect the sound quality. This design allows for a very low DC output voltage so that the signal loop can reach an ideal state.

Simple but complete connectivity

The Monoceros reveals a simple but complete connectivity, to adapt to most audio systems. There are two balanced XLR inputs and one unbalanced RCA input. For the outputs, the device also offers balanced stereo XLR and unbalanced stereo RCA.

Remote control

très belle écoute, avec beaucoup de présence, mais aussi de belles basses. Equilibre spectral avéré. Naturel, et précision s'apprécient à chaque audition. Ne cherche pas à en "rajouter"
mais bien à respecter le message musical. Il lui manque juste une deuxième entrée RCA . (2 entrées XLR + 1 seule RCA)

Very good choise
Beautiful sound with a bit of tube-like warmth, maintaining high resolution, wide stage, space and detail, very good bass. Great synergy with my Purifi Audiophonics HPA-S400ET power amplifier. As usual, service and delivery at the highest level. I highly recommend.
