Double class A linear power supply, 4x RCA inputs, volume control, 3x equalization bands, 4x AOP LME49710
This carefully designed preamplifier and source selector (4 inputs) has two separate circuits for each channel of the stereophonic signal. Each of these circuits operates in pure class A and is powered by its own regulated linear power supply to provide extremely clean channel separation and preserve the signal finesse. Each channel is controlled by two operational amplifiers LME49710.
The PRE-BD1404CH has an elaborate preamplification circuit with separate preamplified channels and separate power supplies. It offers volume control via a rotary potentiometer located on its front panel.
It also offers a three-band equalizer (Bass / Medium / Treble) to enable minor tone adjustments to find a pleasant balance depending on the specifictions of your analog audio installation.
A selector located on the front panel allows to completely bypass the tonal adjustment function in order to keep only the unprocessed signal in the preamplification circuit. A diode indicates the bypass status.
In addition to its preamplification / volume control / three-band equalizer function, the PRE-BD1404CH offers a source selection function on its 4 stereophonic inputs (RCA connectors). The output connectors are mounted on its rear panel.
The stereo output, also on an RCA connector, is located on the same panel to allow clean and ordered wiring.
Finally the rear panel has a power connector (IEC) made for 220V voltages.
The source selection is made using a rotary selector located on the front of the device.
