LT3045 didn't deliver for me
My Netgear GS308 switch is quite sensitive for the 12V power it receives. I already improved the sound quality significantly by going from an L7812 to a LM1085 voltage regulator. I read that the LT3045 is much quieter in terms of noise, as such I wanted to try it out on my switch. The results however are disappointing, as it lacks musicality in the sound. It costs 15 euro, which is 10 times higher than a LM1085 and it didn't deliver for me.
