Great Amp - Extreme low noise and proper heat dissipation
I assembled this UPS for a power amplifier project using the recent 3e stereo module. The result is very satisfactory. It has enough juice to power up 2 ELAC Tower speakers and the noise floor is non-existence to my ear. I didn't hook up a fan to the setup firstly because I didn't notice a change in the output power (it is advertised 11 Amps using the fan) and secondly the large heatsink at the bottom does a great job dissipating the heat. Keeping the setup running for hours the housing is warm to touch (32 C) and the transistor heatsinks are not too hot (40-45 C). I am very happy with the result
