Good device
Reasonably priced. Easy to configure. Sounds great over I2S

A great piece of kit
I brought this for my Audio-GD R8 dac and it's been great, its a step up from the USB out of my silent PC into the Audio-GD, I can follow instruments better now, before they would get slightly lost in the mix, there is better separation between instruments and the music sounds ever so slightly more organic.

It benefits slightly from a good linear power supply, I'm using the Allo Shanti to not only power the Raspdigi but also my external 2TB SSD, and the highs are slightly cleaner now with more extension and air around them, on first listen the bass seemed a bit weaker, but it turned out the bass had tightened up a bit and was less bloated giving the impression there was less bass.

I'm running picoreplayer because I think it sounds slightly better than Volumio, Dietpi and Moode, plus because it runs in ram I can just power off the unit without risk of corrupting the SDCard.

I highly recommend this product, its fantastic value, its slightly cheaper than a Gustard U16 USB to i2s converter, and on top of that its also a streamer and player, so you have access to hundreds of internet radio stations, streaming services, youtube and so on.
