FPGA Master & NDK Femtosecond clocks
The DX170 uses the FPGA-Master technology developed by iBasso. This technology, as a system controller, retrieves the audio data directly from the SoC and plays a major role in reproducing the signal and maintaining its integrity. It synchronizes and generates all the audio clocks at the same time, using two NDK femtosecond clocks, to finally obtain a single, fully synchronized clock source. The FPGA and NDK oscillators also allow for extremely low jitter, resulting in incredibly pure audio reproduction.
Dual Cirrus CS43131 DAC
The DX170 digital to analog conversion stage embeds two Cirrus CS43131 DAC chips, offering very good performances, with a dynamic range measured at 130dB and a THD+N of -115dB. This is followed by an exclusive amplification system using an AOP and buffer duo. A combination allowing the DAP to offer not only a great sound transparency, but also a beautiful musicality.
Sharp 1080p display
The front panel of the iBasso DX170 features a large and beautiful Sharp 1080p touch screen. This one offers a high quality image, with its 16.7 million colors, its definition of 445ppi, its brightness of 480cd/m², its sRGB gamut and its 2.5D Corning Glass.
The DX170 uses the Android 11 operating system, which is as intuitive as it is fast. Moreover, it also allows the installation of applications (in APK format) and thus to enjoy the main streaming services.
