Vishay Dale CMF55 are a serie of very high quality resistors. These components benefit from a virtually null inductance and excellent electronic / thermal stability.
These resistors are indeed well known for varying very little with temperature fluctuations. It allows an audio system to run with ideal electronic conditions. This directly reduces overall noise in any electronic circuit, while establishing great operating conditions for other critical components.

The Vishay Dale CMF55 undergo strict quality control to achieve a measurement accuracy of 0.1 to 0.5% with a stability of 50 ppm/°C.

Designed with the highest level of electronic safety standards, these resistors have a flame retardant epoxy coating and excellent overall resistance to thermal stresses.

This resistor is tested at an A-class tube amp (at the grid leak of the pre-amp). They sound very good (better than Prp resistors) The sound is less sharp than some of the other metalfilms.

A perfect mix of Some musicality like carbonfilm resistors combined with the transparancy of the metalfilm.

I have test these resistor in my A-class tube amp, Tested this one at te grid leak at the pre-amp and it sounded great, (sounds musical and lots of details, (not as clean and sharp like some of the other metalfilms (I like this one more than prp resistors).
